There are numerous well-written articles about the Sankalpa (one  is here) that outline what it is, and how we can cultivate this to help us become a better versions of ourselves.

I won’t go about explain it from A to Z but the purpose of this post is really to put a listening resource out to the internet in this current time where the whole world is fighting with the COVID-19 virus.

Its unusual and this current period will go down in history as a time that really tested the resolve of mankind and our ability to deal with an external threat.

There are people that are dying, that are recovering, fighting, isolated, opened, quarantined, homebound, separated from love ones and in essence suffering.

Suffering is something that is shared amongst all humans and what we strive for is to ease this feeling. Most of the time we just seek to alleviate the symptoms of it with temporary measures.

The way forward is a to learn to anchor different spiritual practises that can continue to guide you through these times and through life beyond this period.  A strong and well-anchored spiritual practise is like an essential work tool.  If you are willing to spend $1,500 on a new laptop for work, then why not spend on a tool for your own mind that is free?

Please accept this as my contribution in the dire times we are going through now.  Start with creating your personal resolve, a state of mind, a cultivation of the best self of yourself.

Enjoy the Part 1 recording on creating your Sankalpa.

Cheers,
